Teej Festival, 3rd August, 2016

C.P.W.D. Officers’ Wives Association celebrated Teej Festival at Hriday Kunj. On this occasion our distinguished patrons & retired members, President Smt. Priti Sinha, Vice Presidents, office bearers and other members of the Association were present. Songs, dances and plays were presented by the executive members. Churiwala, Sareewala and Mehndiwala added joy and colours to the festival. Celebrations were followed by contributory lunch.

Musical Evening, 10th July, 2016

On the eve of CPWD Day the C.P.W.D. Officers’ Wives Association organised a gala Cultural Evening in Mavalankar Hall followed by a contributory dinner in Constitution Club. Shri Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, GOI,graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri Devaker Garg was the Guest of Honour. Two Senior Patron members Mrs Nandita Majumdar w/o Shri B. Majumdar and Mrs Anu Gupta w/o Shri S.C. Gupta were felicitated for their invaluable and indispensable support they provided to the Association. C.P.W.D. families participated in this function in large number. Super Singer Amika Shail mesmerized the crowd by her melodious songs, leaving the crowd saying encore.

Smt. Satya Goyal Memorial Award 2015

In the sweet memory of late Smt. Satya Goyal, wife of Sri O.P. Goyal former Director General CPWD, two awards have been organised, that will be known as Smt. Satya Goyal Memorial Award. Both the awards will be of Rs. 15,000 each. These two awards will be awarded to the outstanding/talented children of employees working under group C/group D of CPWD. One award will be provided to a female student and the other to a male student.

For awarding the above mentioned awards this year, the students who have passed the 12th board exams in the year 2014-2015 are invited to nominate/apply their names in the enclosed Performa.

A picnic was organised for the children of 7 creches in Bhagwan Mahaveer park. various games were played by the children and gifts were distributed among the children. Refreshments were provided to the children. Mrs. Roshni received the best teacher award and Mandoli creche was awarded with best creche award.

New Year Celebration, 12th January 2015

CPWD Wives Association organized a meet to welcome it's new President Mrs. Seema Bhatiya and also celebrated new year. On this occasion various performances were given by the executive members.
